Weekly Update from Rich Muny, VP of Player Relations
With Sen. Rand Paul
Rep. Thomas Massie and me I share this because it was worthwhile, but also because it is the type of activism we can all do. After all, it is not as if I received a special invitation because of my PPA role or because a lobbyist got me in. Rather, it was an event open to the public. All I had to do was show up. Events like this for presidential candidates, senatorial candidates, congressional candidates, and other politicians are held all the time. All it takes is a sharp eye and a free afternoon, typically during the weekend, to make a difference! If you see such an event scheduled, I strongly encourage you to attend. You will make a big difference! If you do see one and have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me at [email protected]. Webcast: Poker Advocacy with Rich Muny
I have been working with Congressman Massie’s office to have him on the webcast. Meeting with him on Saturday helped seal the deal. He will be on, live, either next Tuesday or the following Tuesday. That show will also feature a panel chat with Campaign for Liberty Vice President of Policy Norm Singleton and Competitive Enterprise Institute fellow Michelle Minton. Be sure to tune in for this webcast. On this week’s Poker Advocacy with Rich Muny, PPA Executive Director John Pappas joined me for a terrific discussion on all that’s going on with PPA; poker legislation in CA, PA, and NY; poker activism; and Sheldon Adelson’s ongoing efforts to ban our game. You won’t want to miss this.
Poker Advocacy with Rich Muny airs live Tuesdays at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT on OnTilt Radio. Each show features great guests and the best discussion on poker legislation. Please be sure to tune in every Tuesday evening at www.ontiltradio.com. Take Action

I have interesting news to share. I went to a book signing and rally on May 30th for Sen. Rand Paul that was local to my home. While there, I had a chance to speak with Senator Paul (R-KY) and Congressman Thomas Massie (R-KY), my senator and my representative respectively, on the poker issue.
