Weekly Update from Rich Muny, VP of Player Relations
I have good news to share with you this week. In PPA’s ongoing effort to win supporters from both sides of the aisle, we are returning to the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). We will be taking the fight directly to Las Vegas Sands CEO Sheldon Adelson, sharing why conservatives should support the liberty to play online poker and, at minimum, the rights of states to authorize the game.
We have a long history at CPAC, having attended four consecutive years through (and including) 2012. We have always enjoyed a terrific reception by the attendees and look forward to another great CPAC for the poker community.
This year’s conference will be held February 25th through the 28th, with sponsors like PPA there the 26th through the 28th, just outside Washington, D.C. at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. If you are in the area, please stop by the PPA booth!

Take Action
Last week, I shared with you PPA’s new Take Action page, giving you simple, effective tools to advocate for poker. I thank everyone who used the tools to take action. This week, please take a moment to ask your friends and family to send the new PPA prewritten letter to their elected representatives.
