Weekly Update from Rich Muny, VP of Player Relations
Constituents often call upon their elected representatives when they require assistance in dealing with governmental agencies. Well, the poker community has a very big issue with the Department of Justice’s handling of the Full Tilt Poker remissions process and could certainly use some assistance! So, starting next week, let’s all plan to reach out to our lawmakers via PPA’s all-new prefilled letters demanding action.
In the next update, I will share with you a new PPA action page where you will be able to send a prewritten, fully editable letter to your congressman and both of your senators asking for help with individual balances. We will also have a more general letter available for you to request that your elected representatives help push the DoJ to take action on the broader FTP remissions issue. For a sneak peek at these prewritten letters, please check out the discussion threads on 2+2 and PocketFives.
In the meantime, I ask that you please take a moment to fill out a survey on this issue. The question asking if you contacted the DoJ includes broad advocacy like the tweets from the Poker Daily Action Plan, specific requests to the DoJ for action on your account, and everything in between. In other words, if the DoJ has heard from you in any fashion, please let us know!

It is available as a directly downloadable MP3 file (right-click to save, left click to listen) or as a free iTunes download. I hope you find it interesting and informative.
Each show features great guests and the best discussion on poker legislation. Next week’s show will feature Nolan Dalla in what is sure to be a very interesting show. Please be sure to tune in each week for the live show!
