SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. — Police said an illegal gambling operation is no longer in business in Shelbyville after a raid and dozens of arrests.
Officers said that several times during the week, people would line up outside a small building for a chance to play high-dollar poker.
The building was dubbed Little Tunica by police, and officers said with full admission price, people got access to poker and a full buffet of food.

The bill, which is titled H.R. 6663 or the Unlawful Internet Enforcement Clarification and Implementation Act UIGEACIA, was introduced to congress by Pete Sessions last week and will attempt to define what falls under the scope unlawful internet gambling.

However, there’s a hardcore 15% of the population who are opposed to all forms of gambling on moral grounds. Also, too many state legislators think that gambling is the ‘golden goose.’ They believe that you can milk the golden goose by raising tax rates to levels that are untouchable.”
