The Davidson County Sheriff’s Office on Friday announced multiple arrests related to an alleged illegal gambling operation in Midway.

Investigators with the DCSO vice and narcotics unit Thursday seized poker tables, playing cards, poker chips and $1,748 in cash from the premises of Corporate Entertainment Solutions, 11141 Hickory Tree Road, Suite 8.

The owner and operator of that business, Terry Blain Newman, 57, of Pfafftown, was arrested and charged with gambling. He was placed in the Davidson County Detention Center under a $1,000 secured bond.
