I also still don't get the newsletter that I am supposedly subscribed to -- and have STILL not received any reply to the many inqueries I have sent about it.
I am beginning to get the impression that integrity is not a major concern for the PPA.

I also e-mailed the Alliance at least three times about not receiving anything after upgrading my membership (prior to the WSOP), but had long since given up on getting any kind of response. I was just checking the website because upcoming elections made me think of it and saw this string and was oddly relieved to know I'm not the only one. I will continue to support the PPA because this issue is too important, but this whole situation stinks.

If someone wants to throw me a minimum wage (7.40) salary for time spent packaging things, hook me up with a couple racks of the chips, a couple bags of window stickers, and enough postage paid yellow envelopes, and forward the ship-to info to my email box, I'll get right on it between hands. :D

I can't imagine eBlade getting very far demanding a minimum wage salary for helping the PPA. I've offered in email, on the phone, and in person to provide volunteer help to the PPA, but never get any takers.
I've been making occasional offers for four years or so. And I'm offering my services for free. Let me know if you get a bite.

Hey, guess what just showed up in the mail!!!
The window sticker is not visible through my tinted windows (sticker applies to interior side of glass), and I'll probably never use the card marker since the edge of it is badly chipped; but they did finally arrive.
If the stuff was better quality, it would be a great way to spread the message about the PPA; but since the chip is chipped and the window decal is not compatible with my windows, they will most likely end up sitting in a drawer instead. I think this is very unfortunate, since the PPA is doing good work and needs as much support as it can get. Marketing materials like these are a great idea; but they're only effective if they're decent enough for people to want to use them. I was really looking forward to using my new card marker, and telling everybody about the PPA when somebody asks about the marker; but it's really not presentable with a chipped edge.
I am disappointed that it took 15 months, several emails, a couple of posts, and a phone call to get my welcome kit; and am even more disappointed that when it finally arrived it turned out to be useless. But I am thankful to Bryan for following up and finally sending it -- and even more grateful for the efforts the PPA is constantly putting forth for my rights as a poker player.

I have to say my decal and card protector were slow (very slow, like four months) in coming when I orginally signed up several years ago, but I now believe the PPA has sloved the problem.
I didn't realize my premimum membership had lasped (for about four months) so when I renewed it online a few weeks ago I got a new packet within ten days. I use my card protector all the time and I was happy to get another. I will say I don't know how fair it is for me to have gotten the items twice.
So hats off to the PPA for addressing, and fixing a concern of the membership.
