   House Bill 229 repealed the NH gambling tax in its entirety and became effective on 5/23/11.

   Technically, if you had "gambling winnings" subject to the tax (a difficult question) prior to 5/23/11, you still owe those taxes.

   But from 5/23/11 going forward, this stupid tax is no more.
