My name is Curt Fletcher and I am your main Maine contact, your State Director. I live in Portland and work for a large bank.
I lived in Las Vegas for 4 years between 1998 and 2002 but didn't really get excited about poker until after I moved back to Maine in 2002. While I was in Vegas I saw the huge growth of poker, when I first moved there poker rooms were closing left and right. By the time I moved away they were the hottest thing in town.
I love poker and play some online and with friends but don't play as often as I would like to. I do believe that poker is a great part of life and should be allowed everywhere. I will try my best to help this happen.
I welcome all of you to ask me any questions, post any messages, and post any interesting links here. Let's get this message board going and get the excitement high to bring more poker to Maine!
