As most of you know by now, Pokerstars has banned access to real money games for us Washingtonians. I'm curious to see what the PPA's play is going to be here to reverse the current legal status, and how motivated citizens of the state can help. Being banned will probably motivate people more than it has in the past because of the tangible goal now able to be attained.

The PPA is considering a number of options here, both legal and political. All I can guarantee at this point is that the PPA will continue to fight this horrible and outrageous law. The PPA will keep everyone informed of what's coming next very soon - but we do really want to think this one out a bit before taking definite next steps.
But if I lived in WA state I wouldn't just be waiting on what the PPA comes up with. You folks need to really organize yourselves and start making some real noise. The PPA can help, but nothing can substitute for concerned citizens demanding that their voices be heard and their concerns addressed.
