I went to the "Speak Out" link on the Republican site, and I attempted to start a thread about Poker. The site labeled it "inappropriate" and refused to start the thread. I won't go over the number of things that were listed as subjects that are available to discuss but suffice it to say that many of them were far more controversial than "Poker". I then attempted to start a thread on UIGEA, same thing.
Without any other supporting evidence, I hesitate to say that the Republican Party has blackballed any discussion on Poker or UIGEA. Perhaps they are so inundated with comments about these issues that their servers are overloaded. Perhaps they simply don’t want to hear about these issues. To my Republican friends out there, which is it or what is it? By the way I’m not a Democrat bashing the Republicans. I have declared my independence from either party. The Democrats are far too left for my tastes and the Republicans are simply out to lunch. They (the Republicans) have a golden opportunity to reclaim the House and the Senate in the November elections and possibly the presidency in 2012. Given the ineffective and non responsive Congress currently in place, real “change” is certainly possible.
One of my, and I hope your, big issues is UIGEA and Online Poker. If the GOP wants ideas, why do they refuse to listen????

I posted a thread there on its first day. It took at least 15 attempts to figure out what was "inappropriate", but it finally took it. Unfortuantely, the one that was accepted didn't have a poker tag.
The poker tagged ones are all at http://www.americaspeakingout.com/browse/questions/tagged/poker
