  1. This event will benefit the American Humane Association.
    Suggested Donation: $25.00 per person

    Event #4 - "Modified Shootout" No Limit Texas Hold'em

    October 24th, 2009
    The Oak Tavern - 1416 Market Street Denver, CO. 80202
    Registration begins 11 AM
    Tournament begins at Noon

    Event Format:
    Each player will start with 5,000 in chips. 30 Minute blind levels.

    Players will compete in a modified "Shootout" format. Each table will start with ten (10) players. The players will compete for only two spots on each table. The Top two (2) finishers will move on to the next round, with the chips that each player has accumulated. The tables will be consolidated after each table has been whittled down to two players.

    First Round:
    Ten (10) poker players will compete down to Two (2)
    Second Round:
    Players equally divided between required tables. These same tables will be whittled down to three (3) players each.
    Third Round:
    All remaining players will compete on Final Table.

    Top 3 players will be awarded prizes. The Winning Player receives the Event Championship Bracelet, and the Automatic Entry into the United Bar Poker Tour Colorado Region Championships in February 2010.

    Event #5 - No Limit Texas Hold'em Deep Stack
    Date: January 24th, 2010

    Location: Greenfield's Sports Bar - 3355 South Yarrow Street (NW side street of Hampden & Wadsworth) Lakewood, CO. 80227

    Registration begins Noon
    Tournament begins at 1 PM

    Price: $20.00 per player suggested donation.
    Proceeds: The Denver Poker Tour will make a generous donation to Children's Hospital.

    Event Format:
    Each player will star with 10,000 in chips. 30 Minute blind levels.

    Prize:
    Winning player will receive a Colorado State Poker Championship Winner's bracelet, and receives an "At Large" Seat in the United Bar Poker Tour National Championships in June 2010.
