What is this? Why is this not on the front page of the PPA website?

I never really look at the front page of the PPA website. I personally know no reason why the information is not there.
I think a better question is why are people not discussing this on the forums here?
As it turns out, Gambling911 gets special notification of items related to the SDNY case due to a recent court ruling from papers filed by the parent company Costigan Media in their motion to intervene.
In general the subject interests me. I'd like to hear about it. If only more people would post messages related to this then I might hear more.
I read at Gambling911 a few days back when the first set of Maryland seizures occurred. It was stated in the article a few days back that Electracash did not involve itself in poker money, apparently only in sports betting. These new seizures from Forshay indicate they are related to gambling, but do not say anything about poker in the text of the article.
I had read that these original seizures involving PokerStars and Full Tilt had nothing to do with UIGEA, maybe these don't either.
I'd love to read more. Does anyone know anything or have any opinions on this stuff?

So you're thinking that they may be actually linked to money laundering and possible mob ties?? I hope so because the way it looks these days it appears the DOJ is going to try and close down every single processor related to gambling. If this happens I don't see the poker sites sticking around much longer.

I think the DOJ is looking for low hanging fruit. I think the DOJ is doing a certain amount of posturing and hoping the defendants will plea bargain. I think in general, in the past, the DOJ has not wanted any of these cases to go to trial.
I don't know the facts in any of these cases, but it seems this is the culmination of years of investigations.
This is three separate groups of money seizures. Certainly some of this has to do with online poker. Some of it has nothing to do with online poker. Maybe the DOJ is fishing. Maybe the DOJ has found an angle they can prosecute on.
I don't have the answers; I am unsure of the questions. But I think it all makes good fodder for forum messages.

I think the PPA needs to do a better job of keeping their site updated and current. I mean victory in Minnesota is still one of the main headlines. That was months ago.
