they have about $1500 of my money. they continue to claim they sent a check by overnight courier, but day after day i continue to receive nothing.

i made my original request in march. in july i got a check, but it bounced and my bank charged me a $25 fee. doylesroom charged me $10 to send it.

it's now the end of sept and i still don't have a check.

what are my options other than confronting doyle directly and demanding reimbursement?

  2. There have been a number of Microgaming sites that have had issues over the last year or so. You might want to look into Tusk Investment Corp and see what those players did. Linx Media Group also had to liquidate.

    very cute, no?

i was told on thursday that a check would be sent overnight. it wasn't. they claim upper management is the delay. i asked to speak with upper management and they said that they didn't have phones. i asked if they were lying to me and they wouldn't say no. they kept saying "sir, i will...." i would cut them off, "ARE YOU LYING TO ME, YES OR NO, VERY SIMPLE... SAVE US BOTH TIME. YES OR NO, ARE YOU LYING TO ME?" and they respond "sir, i will..." about 20 times. i have the tapes of the call.

i talked to victor and ricky g. they sounded like the same person.

let me know any details you guys need that you would see as proof. i have LOADS of emails... all claiming payment was sent and i'll receive it by a certain date, but i never do.

DOYLESROOM.COM IS A SCAM SITE. STAY AWAY.

As for nMaiorana's comment, Doyle's Room left Microgaming some time back, perhaps in January 2009. Doyle's Room has been on the Cake network for the period discussed by the Madd Scientist. Rather than trying to cast aspersions on poker rooms, nMaiorana might want to consider getting his facts straight.

I had deleted this thread and another one a couple of days ago, but I see they have both been reposted. I'll leave it to The Engineer to keep it or delete the thread as he sees fit.

As for the madd scientist, I also have an account at Doyle's Room. My last payment, some time back, took about six weeks to get to me and they told me four times it had been sent. I ultimately got a wire transfer from a bank in Germany or someplace close to there.

I sent a number of emails and placed several phone calls to get status updates. I really believe what Doyle's told me, I think their payment processors had problems - though Doyle's never said that. In my case I think the problem occurred out of the card room's control. But it is logical considering the political climate. I'd suggest you call and email them again and see what they say.

I really think the UIGEA has created a gray area in payment processors and this is what we are seeing here. I feel that if congress would provide clarification of what is legal and what is illegal then these types of problems would go away.
