Goldman Sachs, an investment bank, has come out to say they believe that online gambling is bound to be legalized in the United States, and that a great many European poker companies would stand to gain if this comes to pass. Goldman Sachs put the US Poker market at one and a half billion in 2008, basing their estimates off of Party Poker’s 9% market share. Goldman Sachs stated that the poker market in the US would be closer to 3 billion dollars once the game was legalized.
