I play there also muggsy, however, I haven't tried to withdraw any money since before his NEW law went in to effect. The way I understood it, it was to restrict (or completely stop) the banks from processing any transactions to the gambling sites. I made a withdrawal at the end of DEC, and have not tried since. With that said, Maybe BUSH played on POKERSTARS also, and got mad like I do at the semi-crooked place sometimes, and that was the reason he signed it !! come on - get real - Over the long haul, the results are NOTHING like a live table. But I keep playing.

I suspect you are referring the Port Security Act which contains the language of the UIGA. The was a provision for the Federal Reserve to draft rules associated with the UIGA, which they did with delays. The rules were published, commented on, and then went into effect recently.

The UIGA did not make anything illegal that was not already illegal. The very lengthy rules did not define what was illegal and in fact left it to each financial institution to define what they think was illegal and to block illegal financial transactions.

But to answer your main question, there is nothing in the law that can penalize you as an individual. The only penalties are for the banks.
