   And gets himself published in newspapers.

   This is bad.

   The op-ed is bad, but its results shouldn't be. He's just some "family group" statist who wants the government to enforce his vision of morality. It is cool to see the PPA name in all the opposition articles.

   True, but he's getting himself published in newspapers, and is apparently attempting to show some sort of influence over matters of government. Guy seems like a real nut-case to me, but it looks like he's been doing it a long time. And South Carolina is not a battle that I'd like to see lost.
