Fellow members sadly Steve is leaving us and has asked me to take the reigns of the PPA here. I have graciously accepted this task and I know that I cannot do it alone. First and foremost I am definitely interested in having a meeting where it is convenient for all who would like to attend. Please contact me if you are interested. I will drive to Tucson (or any where else I need to) and I encourage you all to network and hopefully one day soon we will have multiple chapters of the PPA functioning together and working for the common good of poker and poker players in our great state. I also would like to start a poker current events topic here in the forum and have those of you who are following poker in your area post concerning laws, legislation, court cases, arrests etc. anything that will help keep me informed so I can report to national about what is going on in our state. I will conduct my own research but I would appreciate the help of any who will share this task with me. I really feel like we need to get more organized here and implement some structure. If I can get a group of members to meet with me once a month hopefully we can work on recruitment, ideas for our direction here and also set up some fun activities and hopefully take part in setting up some charity poker events and in general just make the PPA's presence here more pronounced. I am open to any ideas but only have time for people who are serious about working with me and this great organization to accomplish our short and long term goals for the future of the game here in AZ and elsewhere. Please think about what you would like to see the PPA do here and what you would be willing to do or where you might like to help out and then reply. I am grateful to be here and look forward to working with all who are interested. Together we can defend and restore the glory to this great American game.

How many people do you have? I am more than willing to help you get a chapter going there. If you all have ideas about what you would like to do, and someone will host meetings and keep time go for it! I can definitely make it down there for meetings a few times a year or more if we can really get it going there. I am here to help Ken.
