There are several bars in my area that have regular poker tournaments. Players seem to organize them, not the bars. Although there typically is a charge on top of the buy-in that goes to the house. I'm not talking about bars in private clubs like the American Legion or VFW.
A friend of mine who owns a bar asked me if this was legal. I told him that I didn't think it was, but that I also didn't think any one cared. Any one know for sure?
