   I want to give a big thanks to the owner of Ragin Ryan's in Loveland. They host poker tournaments on Tues & Thurs nights. He allowed me to pass out brochures for the PPA to the players at the game on Thursday. I got a good response from many there and we may have some new members.
   I want to encourage PPA menbers in NoColo area to drop in and patronize this establishment. The tournaments are very well run and the players are a good bunch of folks.
   Ragin Ryan's is located at 128 E. 4th St in Loveland Colo. To get on the list for the game you can call 970-593-0300 on the day of the tournament.

   That is a great way to spread the word. Thank you for your initiative and dedication.

   We need to set up a Northern Colorado region as there are plenty of members located there. We will need more than just a director, as there are plenty of communication, organization and planning tasks that will need to be addressed.

   Northern Colorado is also a strategic goal as it is the home of Rep. Marilyn Musgrave, who is rated F by the PPA. We must defeat her in order to continue to demonstrate that we can turn elections.

   We need to get a response from her challenger regarding her position on poker, as well.

   I agree that we need to try to set something up here in Northern Colorado. I still have plenty of PPA brochures and I'm planning on handing them out at some of the other bars here in Loveland that host poker tounaments. Specifically McGraffs & Nightshotz.
   I'm trying to do what I can to get the word out about the PPA. I know that more needs to be done. Any help or advice that you could give me would be great. You can contact me at GRG5360@aol.com

   I'm sure we've all read about the raid in Greeley at Rafferty’s. This is a good example of what is wrong in Colorado. Our law enforcement resources are focused on things like this while drug dealers, gang bangers and child molesters roam our streets. Folks it is time to end this madness. Friends and associates getting together for a game of poker should be allowed whether in a bar or in the confines of someone's home. Join with me and the other members of the PPA who want to take a stand. Call or write your state representative or senator and tell them that raids like this are wrong for so many reasons. Join the PPA in the fight to save poker in Colorado.
