To correct some unfounded statements on a few blogs and internet gaming news websites, The PPA has not endorsed Barack Obama or any other candidate for the Office of President of the United States. The PPA is still in discussion with both campaigns in order to help make a decision of who, if anyone, to endorse in this years Presidential Election. Thanks,

I'm not advocating for either candidate, but how can we endorse a republican? I agree McCain is not from the 'extreme right' but he still has to 'kiss up' to them.

I firmly believe that he when it comes time to 'reward' the extreme right for their support, he will have to give them a few bills that follow their agenda. Any type of gambling bill is an easy one to give them because the average American citizen is more worried about gas prices, iraq, and crime statistics than wether or not people can play poker.

I have an election guide on my blog, at http://theengineer.theppa.org/presidential-candidates-and-internet-poker-rights . Perhaps you'll find it of use. I have a congressional guide as well, at http://theengineer.theppa.org/congress-and-internet-poker-rights .

"The PPA is still in discussion with both campaigns in order to help make a decision of who...."

There are more than two campaigns. :-)
