This is very concerning, that you (we) cannot get a favorable vote from a legislative body that is headed by one of our allies. If you cannot win that one, please advise which one can you win!

Even after this, I do not see any course of action posted by the PPA (only old news about individuals making the WSOP) and the Maryland State Director still has not posted anything.

How about a plan that can succeed.

I have tried to tell the people pushing for poker in Texas the same thing I am about to say here. I may have done so with email before, I don't remember, but here it is.

Sorry to say but tournament poker should have been seperated from regular games. It should have been compared to any professional tournament, such as golf or tennis. Anywhere that tournament play in anything is allowed then poker tournaments should be allowed, whether in an arena or online. Not to do so constitutes prejudice and a violation of rights. You can not give one group the right to hold a professional tournament and deny others.

As poker players we should see the similarities. We know the regular games produce the real money for on-line sights but we may have to do without and settle for tournament only play online. And tournament only play in places like Texas.
