    Dear Korey:

Thank you for contacting me with your concerns about the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, as included in the SAFE Port Act which became law in the 109th Congress.

I understand your frustration regarding this provision. There is currently legislation in the House which may resolve many of the issues related to this act. The Internet Gambling Regulation and Enforcement Act of 2007 (H.R. 2046) would create an exemption to the ban on online gambling for properly licensed operators, allowing Americans to once again lawfully bet online.

I appreciate you taking the time to share your insight and perspective on the current regulations related to online gambling. Be assured that I will keep your views in mind as this issue comes to my attention in the Senate. I hope you will not hesitate to contact me if I can be of further assistance.

    Sincerely,

    Jon Tester
    United States Senator

Thats the same form letter I got also, Tester is a good guy lets stay on him. Rheberg is a party line republican and I dont know if we have a chance with him. Baucus is a Dem in name only he works for the big money here in Montana, I think he is a good guy, Ive been to a few private events for him but I think he is pretty much told what to do(poker and gaming gaming gaming is big here).

so the way i see it as of now, I believe we can make ground with Tester and Baucus, but Rheberg needs to be replaced.

    Mike
