Skall, take alook at this bill HR 4049:

    http://www.house.gov/apps/list/speech/financialsvcs_dem/h.r._4049.pdf

Will this impact banks duties under UIGEA, making them almost off the hook?

During the hearing the UIGEA was never mentioned, though Costa Rican services were.

Seems Bachus really has no clue, this is a bill he co-sponsored.

    Sorry for the delay OBG,

This bill would not change that much in our situation. It would make it a little easier for a Neteller-type money transfer service to get a bank account, because the bank would be allowed to rely on the transfer services "certification" that it is complying with money-laundering laws without having to check what the the money transfer service is actually doing itself. But money-laundering laws are not really the problem.

What is the PPA's next move?

    Pawn to Queen 4 :)

Actually, the next move is the same as the last move. Keep writing our representatives and tell them to support the kind of poker carve out envisioned by the Wexler bill.

After that the move is to vote out all the representatives who wont support our ability to play online.

Then maybe we get a better result next year with a new congress and a new administration.

The PPA cant do that by itself, though.
