   As reported by CardPlayer.com, France has approved a bill to legalize online poker. Up to 100 companies are expected to apply for a license. If approved they will be taxed at a 2% rate under the new law.

   In an odd twist, no company will be allowed to apply for a license if they have existing French customers. Read more at the URL above.
