Please Sign the Poker Petition to President Obama

In case you've not heard, PPA has a new web site through which we can easily let President Obama know how much you care about your right to play poker.

Please visit http://www.PokerPetition.com. Sign, then please have all of your friends and family take 30 seconds to sign the online petition. Finally, please reply to this thread with "signed", "shipped", "family signed," "posted link to blog," etc. to encourage others. PPA will deliver the signatures to President Obama later this summer.

    Thanks!

I signed, and would have without the carrot, but when you promise someone a Freeroll you should deliver! It goes to credibility. hassle89

    hassle89,

I signed the petition via the full tilt petition link http://www.pokerpetition.com/fulltilt. I used the same e-mail address on the petition as I have registered with Full Tilt. I received an e-mail 3 or 4 days later saying that I have earned an entry into the free-roll. The e-mail provided a link to pick which freeroll I wanted to register in. Also, I believe, once you have been granted your entry. You can access the list of freeroll dates from the 'My Promotions' link in the cashier. I'm not sure how PokerStars is managing this. I usually only play on Full Tilt. If you signed it today and you used the correct petition link and e-mail address, then give it a few more days and you should get an e-mail pertaining to the freeroll.

That's true. Of course, it's not PPA who promised the freeroll. The sites did. I encourage you to get with their customer service for your freeroll.

  6. I'm guessing they aren't using a totally automated system, or the system isn't reporting every day, if they are .. there's like 20k people signed on hte FTP freerolls, but it's been 3 days. I wouldn't worry too much , but if you are, then contact support@yourpokersite ..

And as TE said, it's not PPA that is advertising a freeroll, it's Stars, Tilt, maybe other sites as well.

Thank you for the prompt reply on the FreeRoll topic. By the way,I have not been able to log on to FullTilt for about 36hours, all other internet connections are fine, is any one else having problems? I'm baffled, I'm getting no response from their support people either. Does any one know what's going on? Thank You, hassle89

    Hassle89,

No problem. I'm not sure what's with FT, but it's probably related to yesterday's software update.

Thank you again for the quick response!!! No one else responded, with your little bit of information about FullTilt still being accessable to you, but that they had a software update yesterday, I decided to uninstall FT, then reinstall the whole thing, and it worked. One of the many advantages of belonging to the PPA. Have a good day, hassle89
