Over the course of the last 4-5 months, I've had several conversations with Drew Lesofski, the PPA Grassroots Director, about the inactivity and lack of leadership from the Indiana State Director. Last week Drew was to talk with her about her future commitment to our efforts, and I should be hearing from him in the very near future. I will keep you posted on anything I find out.
In the meantime, if you're an Indiana member please continue to contact your legislators about supporting online poker. Also please continue to promote the PPA among your poker community. Drew told me that Indiana membership has increased by nearly 6000 members over the last year. For privacy reasons, that membership list can't be shared, so if you're willing to help recruit new members, let me know and I can help you get some of the PPA promotional material. I can be contacted at:
Don't hesitate to contact me and if you need help recruiting at poker functions in the central part of the state, I'm willing to help. If you're in another part of the state and need help, I may be able to travel to help you as well, but with my regular work and commitments I would need some additional lead time.
Good luck at the tables and keep working for the online cause...Tim
