Recently I was considering making a withdraw from my Full Tilt Poker account. I read over my options and I was more than a little shocked at the conditions Full Tilt has set in place in order for their customers to receive their money. When I signed up for my Full Tilt account I never agreed to provide Full Tilt with any of my personal information, and requiring me to provide copies of bank/credit card statements, utility/cell phone bills, or home/auto insurance papers is completely inappropriate and a violations of my rights. In addition, it is completely bias against customers who may not have a job, insurance, car, home, and cell phone. Also, this policy does not provide any additional security as 1) Full Tilt never took the steps to properly identify their customers as they signed up for their Full Tilt accounts, and 2) in any situation where a criminal (or person other than the Full Tilt customer) is capable of cashing a check made out to a specific Full Tilt customer, the criminal will certainly be able to provide Full Tilt with the information requested for withdraw approval. Effectively this policy only prevents the poor from withdrawing from Full Tilt, and this disturbs me.

Full Tilt poker pro Mandy B told me that she experienced a similar problem with Ultimate Bet, and Ultimate Bet claims this is necessary to remain in compliance with the Kahnawake Gaming Commission.

No business has the right to hold MY money from me without my permission. I want free access to my posessions!

Am I legally correct? If so, what needs to be done to fix this? At the minimum, what do I need to do in order to gain access to my money withut revealing my personal information? I'm sick of the bull shit. Let's fix this.
