   Thought everyone might be intereted in the response I got from Congressman Tierney regarding an email I sent in support of the appropriate house resoluations:

   Dear Mr. Kimmel:

   Thank you for your recent correspondence regarding internet-based gambling. I appreciate the opportunity to respond.

   I have noted your views on this subject as well as your support for access to online gambling services. The allowance of other forms of gambling by both public and private entities, as well as the questionable likelihood of effective enforcement of a voluntary activity, in my view mitigates against criminalization.

   The bills you mentioned are currently under the consideration of several committees. Should such legislation be brought to the House floor for a vote, I would be mindful of your views.

   I appreciate you taking the time to weigh in on this issue. Please feel free to do so regarding any matter of concern to you.
