So call me stupid, because my local airwaves in Washington state(mind you I dont have cable) show all kinds of poker room adds and at the bottom is a disclaimer saying that this is not a gambling site(is the FCC setting us up?). Now if the add says come play for free and offers a step up situation, your rights to pursue poker fame are not an issue. AM I CORRECT?
I would think that this law of poker only pertains to putting your money in right? It is absurd to think its a violation of law to play freerolls, and I critically argue that this mess is way beyond repair. A points based game is even more legal I would believe that you can win cash or prizes, becuase then it is a contest, and not subject to gambling defenition but rather contest rules. I hope that the MORALITY issue is determined to be the sole issue...meaning its immoral for a child to gamble(spend money on a sport online). Protect our teens and school kids, but ban them from playing for cripes sake.We adults know the constitution. This is getting rediculous and only makes our poloticians look really &#%@' stupid. 32 figured it out but 32 didn't, omg. Play on!If worst comes to worst and you can't collect your winnings, then go brick and mortar and kick ass. Don't forget to donate to the PPA when you do:)
