   Hello all:

   I was recently arrested for running a poker game.(see PPA NC News for local news coverage of the bust) I was renting a space in a shopping center for our game room.

   The local County Sheriff's sent a "confidential informant" into our game and when he cashed out, I paid him for his chips.
   I was charged with "gambling" under statute 14292, a Class 2 misdeamor here in North Carolina.

   Anyone got any ideas or advice? Please let me know.
